ABOUT ME

I live in the English Riviera of Torquay, Devon with my Husband, Son and Cocker Spaniel and I am the business owner and Reflexologist at Reflexology with Lynsey. When I am not helping my clients, as a family we love lots of long walks and have the best of both worlds with the beautiful beaches and Dartmoor not from from us and love visiting new places. I love to read, yoga and always had a passion for helping and caring for others.

I have spent the last 22 years working in Health care as a Health Care Assistant and then Registered Nurse under the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).  Having had many Reflexology treatments myself I have found the experience to be relaxing, mindful and helped with chronic back pain. My Nursing career was taking a lot out of me in a negative way and I was feeling burnout, stress and anxiety with the ongoing pressure and not feeling like I could care for people the way I wanted and should be expected.  I decided to train to become a Reflexologist and completed a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology in 2022 with a distinction at the Devon School of Reflexology which is known for its highly skilled training for professionalism and excellence. This has enabled me to become a full Member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR). By choosing a Reflexologist with the letters MAR after their name you choose a therapist with full Membership status of the AOR. This means that I will continue to demonstrate that I meet the strictest of standards, as well as being committed to continually developing my knowledge and skills.  All members agree to abide by the AOR's code of practice and have confirmed that they are insured to practice. I am also listed on the NHS website for Reflexology Practitioners.  

 I am passionate about Reflexology and how it can make a positive difference to the way we feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, whatever your level of health and well-being.
